A Philosophy of Craft, Precision, and Timeless Wine Room Design

ABOUT US

Who We Are

Coastal Custom Wine Rooms is a design driven construction company specializing exclusively in custom wine rooms, wine cellars, and architectural wine storage environments. Based in Naples, Florida, we serve luxury homeowners, architects, interior designers, and builders throughout Florida’s west coast, from Sarasota to Naples and the surrounding coastal communities.

Our work exists at the intersection of architecture, interior design, and technical performance. Every wine room we create is tailored to the client, the home, and the collection. We do not approach wine storage as a standard product or a repeatable formula. Instead, each project is treated as a one of a kind environment that must feel natural within the home while performing at the highest level for long term wine preservation.

The Why Behind the Work

Our Philosophy

A wine room should feel natural to the space, as if it was always meant to be there. When designed well, it complements the architecture rather than competing with it.

Our work is built on Master Craftsmanship, thoughtful proportion, and intentional design. Materials are chosen for authenticity and longevity, with clean lines and carefully layered lighting that highlights the collection.

Storage balances display and function, allowing the collection to grow over time.

Performance is just as important. Temperature stability, humidity control, insulation, and proper sealing ensure the wine is protected.

True quality brings together beautiful design and reliable performance.

Design Sets the Direction

A Design Led Approach to Wine Rooms

Design is the foundation of every project. Before materials are selected or layouts are finalized, we focus on understanding how the client lives, entertains, and engages with their wine collection.

Some clients want a dramatic glass enclosed wine room that serves as a focal point within an open concept living area. Others prefer a more private cellar that feels intimate, quiet, and traditional. Many projects blend modern and classic elements to create a space that feels personal rather than prescribed.

We consider sightlines, movement through the home, and how the wine room will be experienced at different times of day. Lighting design is treated as a critical element, with attention given to color temperature, intensity, and control. The goal is a space that feels refined and balanced whether it is viewed from across the room or experienced from within.

Master Craftsmanship

Craftsmanship is not an optional layer added at the end of a project. It is built into every stage of our work.

From precise framing and alignment to the execution of millwork, glass, and finishes, our team focuses on details that are often overlooked but always felt. Door tolerances, joint alignment, material transitions, and lighting integration are approached with care because these elements define the difference between a wine room that looks good and one that feels exceptional.

We collaborate with skilled fabricators, installers, and artisans who share our commitment to quality. This allows us to deliver wine rooms that feel cohesive, intentional, and enduring rather than decorative or temporary.

Engineered for Performance

Built for Florida’s Coastal Environment

Designing wine rooms in Florida requires an understanding of the coastal climate. Heat and humidity present challenges that must be addressed through proper construction methods, material selection, and climate planning.

Our wine rooms are engineered with these conditions in mind. Insulation, vapor barriers, door systems, and climate strategies are planned carefully to maintain stable conditions year round. This approach protects both the wine collection and the integrity of the space itself.

By addressing performance early in the design process, we avoid compromises later. The result is a wine room that functions reliably while maintaining a refined appearance.

A Collaborative Approach

Collaboration With Design & Build Pros

Many of our projects involve close collaboration with architects, interior designers, and builders. We understand the importance of coordination, clear communication, and respect for the broader design vision.

Our team integrates seamlessly into the construction process, providing technical guidance, detailed planning, and dependable execution. Whether the wine room is a central architectural feature or a more discreet element of the home, we work to ensure it aligns with the overall design intent.

For design professionals, this means confidence that the wine room will be executed correctly, without unnecessary revisions or compromises.
